Professional Experience


Dr. Burt has owned Executive Marketing Information (EMI Research Solutions, LLC) since 1994. His team’s customer satisfaction studies have helped organizations of all size improve their bottom lines by opening a strategic dialogue with customers.

He literally grew up in the profession of marketing, working in his family’s little grocery store and starting his own auction business at the age of 17. He became a licensed real estate agent at the age of 19 to fund his college education. Upon graduation he worked as an account representative for Unilever in the Oklahoma and Texas markets before being hired as a training consultant for Dale Carnegie Training Systems International.
